conscientious chaos (a)

conscientious chaos (a) is an original acrylic mixed media painting done on a 22" x 28" canvas. It is the first in a three part set. It was also one of the first paintings I did after quitting my job and starting my healing journey. The bright colors, bold markings and solid brush strokes contrast with the dark crying eye. The inky tears mixed with those of my own. Feelings of anxiety and fear, combined with the joy of doing what I love, made for a very emotional painting session. I learned a lot about myself during my time making this piece, as well as the set as a whole. 
 
This piece will come completed with a glass-like resin finish.
